PAOK won a historic victory in the Conference League last night, beating Midland on penalties as regulation and extra time ended 2-1 in favour of the Double-Headed Eagle, who had lost 1-0 in Denmark.
PAOK won the penalty shootout with five penalty kicks to Midland's three and are the only Greek team to continue in European competition as Olympiacos were eliminated from the Europa League.
PAOK took the lead on 20 minutes with a goal from Andrija Zifkovic and on 26 minutes PAOK captain Andre Vieirinia made it 2-0.
