The green transformation of International Shipping and the challenges facing the sector due to the pandemic were discussed at a meeting of the Board of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) in London, this week, with the participation of the Vice President of the IOC and President of the Cyprus Chamber of Shipping (CCC) Themis Papadopoulos and the Director General of the Cyprus Chamber of Shipping Thomas Kazakos.
According to a statement of the KNE, the focus of the meeting, according to the statement, was the current developments in maritime policy issues and ways of sustainable implementation of the environmental regulations of the European Union and the International Maritime Organization by International Shipping, with a view to its green transformation.
