The AKEL leadership ignores or wants to ignore the huge effort the Government is making at every step and in the European Councils for the Cyprus problem, and consciously chooses to blame the President of the Republic for the deadlock, Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos says in a written reply.
In response to AKEL, notes Mr Pelecanos, we will recall the statements of the Turkish President, the Turkish Foreign Minister, and their Turkish Cypriot leader, who is here for them.
