While AKEL will continue to throw mud at the fan, the Government will proceed with rationality, protecting what citizens have conquered through sacrifices, says Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos in a written reply today, responding to AKEL for accuracy.
According to a Presidency statement, the Spokesperson says that "in a new crescendo of populism, AKEL explains to us that big private interests are responsible for the price increases and insists on blaming the Government for a phenomenon that does not only concern Cyprus, but has global dimensions. And this while our country shows better results even than much more economically powerful countries".
