The Government, recognizing the issue that has arisen with the price increase, has already taken targeted measures to mitigate the problem, with particular emphasis on vulnerable households, such as price subsidies and VAT reduction for electricity, a special allowance for mountainous areas and others, said the Director of the Press Office of the President of the Republic Andreas Joseph.
Responding on Thursday afternoon to AKEL's criticisms in relation to price increases, Mr Joseph said that "AKEL is fond of unfounded criticism".
