A peaceful protest outside the Accident and Emergency Department (AED) of Larnaca General Hospital was held at noon by friends of Filios Balafa-Lekka, 33, who died a week ago in the public hospital, following her husband's allegations of medical negligence.
The citizens who gathered held carnations in their hands, and some of them were placed at the entrance of the TAP, where there was an increased police presence.
At the Larnaca General Hospital, the Press Spokesman of the OCYPY Haralambos Harilaou was present, who told CNA that "since there is a police investigation into the sad incident, as an organization we cannot make any statement on the substance.
