From the French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle, which is currently in the Mediterranean, the French Rafale fighter jets that are currently flying in the airspace of the Republic of Cyprus are taking off.

The aircraft carrier is expected to arrive at the port of Limassol around the end of February, according to CNA.

The flights of the French aircraft, from today until Sunday, are mainly aimed at testing the air defence system of the Republic of Cyprus, as well as training the National Guard personnel in real conditions.
