The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday four new deaths and 3,012 new cases of COVID-19, with a positivity rate of 2.16%.
Hospitalizations increased, with 251 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, including 91 in serious condition. A proportion of 75.3% of hospitalized patients have no history of vaccination. It was also announced that 17 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in an ICU.
A total of 139,709 tests have been performed to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test.
The total number of cases has reached 204,372.
