For the fourth year, the exhibition "Lefkart" was held on Friday, January 21, by the Cultural Creation Foundation for Children and Youth, Larnaca District and the Phoebus Stavridis Foundation-Larnaca Archives with the support of the Cyprus Youth Organization.
In a written announcement of the Municipality it is stated that "with the realization of this exhibition, the project "The Lefkarian Centre-Source of Inspiration" was completed, which was funded, as in previous years, by the Plan for the Preservation and Enhancement of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The programme was aimed at disseminating all the information on Lefkari embroidery as a source of inspiration for young people and was addressed to teachers of secondary general and secondary technical and vocational education and training".
