Five members of the United Nations peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) from Ukraine are leaving and will be repatriated.
UN Secretary-General's spokesman, Stefan Duzarik, said at the regular international media briefing that Ukraine has requested the withdrawal of personnel serving in peacekeeping operations in Mali, Cyprus, Abyei, South Sudan and Kosovo, involving 250 troops, 36 officers and experts on mission, and 22 police officers, for a total of 308 people.
The personnel from Ukraine in UNFICYP amounts to five persons.
