A fire in a two-storey house in Ayia Napa occurred last night. The fire damaged furniture and the owner was given first aid.
In a statement the Fire Service said that "at 20.53 a call was received for a fire in a two-storey house, in a residential complex in Ayia Napa. The Famagusta Fire Station Sergeant Adamou Adamou with 2 fire engines responded and the fire was brought under control at 21.41".
The fire was extinguished by the owner before the arrival of the Fire Brigade, which carried out an inspection and final extinguishing.
According to the Fire Department, "the fire destroyed a sofa on the porch of the house and extensively damaged small furniture inside the house, as well as the entire interior was damaged by smoke."
