The former Mayor of Geroskipou Michael Pavlidis was taken to his last residence on Thursday. Early in the afternoon at the church of Agia Paraskevi, hundreds of friends and admirers of his work from every corner of Cyprus and Greece, as well as his fellow citizens, bid him farewell in an atmosphere of grief and sorrow.
The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Yannis Karousos, in his eulogy, said that he came to bid farewell to the Mayor not only as a Minister, but as a friend, colleague and former colleague.
