The Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry expresses its concerns about the potential impact of the dramatic developments in Ukraine on the Cypriot economy and particularly on the professional services sector.
As stated in today's announcement of the Association, sectors such as tourism, investment, services, grain, trade and financial transactions may be affected by the conflict in Ukraine, as Cyprus has close trade and economic relations with both countries involved, while there are also risks from the general turmoil created in the European and, by extension, the global economy by the war in Ukraine.
