Exports of services from EU member states to non-EU countries fell 15% in 2020 compared to 2019, with the total value of services for 2020 reaching 910 billion euros, according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
Imports of services from non-EU countries in 2020 recorded a total value of €878 billion, down 14% compared to 2019.
The drop in trade volume in 2020 was due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and sanitary measures.
