The course of the economy, the need for tax reform and the individual issues that concern the auditing profession were discussed by the leadership of the Hellenic Audit Association with the President of the Parliament, Anita Demetriou, at a meeting on Thursday.
A press release from the ACA states that the President, Vice President and Director General of the ACA, Pieris Markou, Nikos Himarides and Kyriakos Iordanou, respectively, exchanged views with the Speaker of the Parliament on a number of issues affecting the development of the economy.
In particular, there was a discussion and exchange of views on further strengthening the cooperation between the Parliament and the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the greater contribution of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce to the public consultation on bills submitted to the Parliament.
