The Youth Union of Athienou won the second derby of this year's Women's Handball Championship.
According to KOX, the team of Giannou Charalambous prevailed 34-27 over AS Latsia on the road and continued their unmistakable run. It was the second defeat of the season for the Latsia's champion team - again by EN Athienou.
With the completion of the second of the four rounds of the championship, the Athienou team has a lead on the title. The champion will be the team that finishes first since there are no play offs.
In Agios Dometios, Panellinios beat AO KN Ag. Trimithias on the road 40-20 (24-10 at half time) with Ellina scoring 10 goals and Fratila and Tsangari scoring 8 each. For the hosts Petrou and Toumba scored 5 each.
In Aradippou the local team won 25-20 against Proodeft
