The Ministry of Health released today the data of the new National Report, until February 1, 2022, in which the downward trend, which had begun in the daily number of diagnoses, seems to be slightly halted, which is in line with the increase observed in the weekly positivity rate.

According to the new data, the highest value of the 14-day cumulative incidence is in the age groups 0-9 years and 10-19 years, which may reflect to some extent the increased laboratory testing in these groups compared to others.

As reported in the National Report, 257 cases have been diagnosed in the Republic of Cyprus as of 1 February.
