The courses for the first four weeks of teaching will be conducted remotely/online, the Senate of the University of Cyprus decided, given the very high contagiousness of the Omicron mutation.

As mentioned in a relevant post, exceptions are courses for which physical presence is necessary, e.g. laboratories. For these courses, a detailed protocol will be followed, established by a team of university experts.

It was also decided that the mid-term and final examinations will be conducted with physical presence.

It is noted that during the third week of classes, the Senate will reassess the situation and take decisions regarding the way the courses will be conducted for the rest of the semester.
