The dialogue on the issue of the Limassol port fee increases has started, but the stakeholders who attended the Parliamentary Committee on Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism today said that they have not yet reached a conclusion and that an additional fifteen days are needed.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee, DISY MP Kyriakos Hatzigiannis, appealed to the stakeholders to reach a solution soon so as not to impose increases in Limassol Port fees that will have a measurable contribution to inflation and hurt the purchasing power of consumers.
He said that the Commission is at their disposal to assist in order not to impose these increases which will be passed on to consumers.
