Decisions on any relaxation of measures will be considered at the next meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) on Tuesday, February 1, Health Minister Michael Hadjipandela said today, noting that any possible relaxations will depend on the number of cases, but also on hospitalizations, based on the reports of the OCYPY.
In statements after the signing of the contract for the construction of the Mental Health Centre in Nicosia, the Health Minister said that "the epidemiologists unanimously agreed that relaxation of measures will be considered at the next meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee", noting that measures concerning unvaccinated children aged 12-17 years have already been discussed in previous days to allow them to go to eating places with the demonstration of a rapid test or SafePass.
