Cyprus supports the European Universities initiative and encourages the participation of Cypriot universities, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth.
In addition, according to the statement, the Minister of Education, Prodromos Prodromou, participated yesterday, Tuesday, in the Informal Meeting of Ministers responsible for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, under the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
In the context of the Summit, the Minister of Education participated in two morning sessions in which French academics spoke about the future of Europe's universities and about the principles and values of research in Europe and in the world.
