[CNA] Cyprus needs the Limassol Carnival like never before, the Mayor of Limassol said

This year, perhaps more than ever before, Limassol and the whole of Cyprus needs the Limassol Carnival, said Limassol Mayor Nikos Nicolaides, presenting the programme of this year's carnival events which, due to the Coronation, will be held indoors, with a limited number of people and without the big parades and other mass events.

During a press conference at the Limassol Marina, Nicolaides presented the new queen of Carnival, Vera Efthymiou Parlalidou, who, as the good witch of fairy tales, undertakes to banish the koronoios from our lives forever.
