The Treasury Department is considering issuing a green bond in 2023, an official of the Public Debt Management Office (PDO) told CNA.
"It is something we are looking at thoroughly, there is no specific timetable," the same DGM official said, clarifying that this is an initial decision regarding the inclusion of green bonds in the Republic of Cyprus' financial instruments.
He noted that issuing a green bond is something that takes a lot of time and organisation and for this purpose no specific timetable is given.
