Cyprus and Kuwait signed today two Memoranda of Understanding in the framework of the working visit to Nicosia of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who held talks with his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Christodoulides and was received by the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades.
Mr. Christodoulides and Sheikh Al-Sabah signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a Joint Cooperation Committee, while the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Yannis Karousos, and the Foreign Minister of Kuwait signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Prevention of Theft, Illicit Excavations and Illegal Import, Export or Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property and Promotion of its Restoration between the Government of the State of Kuwait and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus.
