The contract for the construction of the first phase of the Mental Health Centre in Nicosia was signed on Thursday, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Yannis Karousos and the Minister of Health Michael Hadjipandela.
As mentioned, the Project will be implemented through the Design, Construction and Maintenance method and the value of the Contract amounts to €12.013.050 including VAT. The design and construction works will be completed within 24 months, while the Contractor Contractor will additionally be responsible for the 12-year maintenance of the Project. How much of €6.8 million will be drawn from the 2021-2025 Recovery Fund announced by the President.
The Department of Public Works will coordinate the implementation of the project and it will be monitored by a team of Public Works Department officials, BR\]
