A continuous effort is being made to complete the Vasiliko gas dehydration terminal as soon as possible and to safeguard the interests of the Republic of Cyprus, said Energy Minister Natasha Pilidou.
After a meeting on Wednesday with the President of the Democratic Party (DIKO) Nicolas Papadopoulos, the Minister said that "we have proceeded with the procedures that have already been announced in terms of preparing the documents that have to do with the points of negotiation and discussion with the contractor".
She added that "as already announced, a request will be submitted to the Central Claims and Claims Committee (CCC) which will be supported by an opinion of the Attorney General".
