Work on the Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (NGIFA) project in Shanghai, which will supply clean gas to the Vasilikos Power Station, continues apace, despite the difficulties caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
According to a company press release, construction work on the "ETYFA SUPPLIER" continued uninterrupted throughout the holiday season and is underway for the installation of two vital components.
More specifically, according to the same announcement, the Regas and Power Module are currently being installed on board the ship, in order to convert it from a simple Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) to a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU).
