A total of 2,729 checks were carried out by the police in the last 24 hours as part of controls for anti-coronavirus measures during which 23 citizens and 9 managers of establishments were reported.
The Police Press Office reported that in Nicosia 1,125 checks were carried out and 1 establishment and 3 citizens were denounced, in Limassol in 266 checks there were complaints against 6 establishments and 4 citizens and in Larnaca in 494 checks 1 establishment was denounced.
In Famagusta 388 checks were carried out and 7 citizens were complained against, in Paphos 135 checks were carried out and 1 complaint was made against 1 establishment and 6 citizens and in Morphou in 203 checks 3 citizens were complained against.
