In the last 24 hours, the police filed complaints against 18 citizens and 8 businesses for violation of protective measures against the spread of coronavirus.
A police communications officer told CNA that in the last 24 hours ending at 06:00 this morning, the Force carried out a total of 2,013 checks throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia 564 checks were carried out and 4 citizens and 3 establishments were reported, in Limassol 259 checks were carried out with 6 citizens and 2 establishments reported, in Larnaca 3 citizens and 2 establishments were reported after 456 checks, in Paphos 2 citizens and 1 establishment were reported after 107 checks, in Famagusta 3 citizens were reported after 341 checks, while in the Morphou area 142 checks were carried out without any complaints.
Finally, the Traffic Police Departments conducted 144 checks
