The procedure for implementing the "test to stay" measure in schools is explained in a circular posted today on the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth.
The circular to Principals of Public and Private Primary, Secondary General and Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training Schools states that from Monday 24/1/2022, close contacts of cases identified through the checks carried out by the mobile sampling units visiting schools will have the option to choose to stay in school if they wish.
A prerequisite, it is added, is that their parents/guardians are informed immediately and in detail about the possibility of applying the "test to stay" measure,
