The Paphos Crime Detection Department is investigating a case of ATM machine tampering.
According to the Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos CID Michael Nicolaou, on Wednesday there was an attempt to break into ATM machine locks in Kato Paphos on two occasions.
Immediately, Mr Nicolaou said, the alarm systems sounded and the alleged perpetrators fled. Members of the Paphos CID went to the scene to collect evidence and examinations are expected to be carried out this morning for the purpose of securing evidence.
Investigations are continuing by the Paphos Crime Investigation Department.
