[CNA] Chelsea to the Club World Cup final

European champions Chelsea confirmed their status as favourites by beating Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the second semi-final of the Club World Cup held on 9 February in Abu Dhabi.

The Londoners were the better side for most of the match and cruised to victory thanks to a 32nd minute goal from Romelu Lukaku.

With the win, Chelsea qualified for the grand final on 12 February, where they will face Copa Libertadores holders Palmeiras of Brazil, who were beaten 2-0 by Egypt's Al Ahli in the first semi-final on 8 February.
