The changes that have been announced in bank charges are on the basis of the Finance Minister's decree and in no way contradict it, sources at Hellenic Bank stress.
Specifically, the same sources say that Hellenic Bank is offering the Basic Account, giving its customers the opportunity for €1.50 per month to maintain an account and a debit card to handle their daily needs.
They also state that Hellenic Bank customers "can be easily and quickly served through the bank's alternative channels, make free withdrawals and deposits, transfers, standing orders and execution of outgoing SEPA transfers (within European Union countries), up to €1.
