A nationwide inspection campaign to combat undeclared work and compliance with labour laws
is being conducted in February by the Inspection Service of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, as part of its efforts to monitor compliance with basic labour laws.
A statement from the Service says that "the purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness among all those involved in these economic activities of the consequences of undeclared work and non-compliance with the provisions of the relevant legislation."
At the same time, checks will be carried out on compliance with the basic conditions of employment such as wages, working hours, weekly off etc.
