The Council of Ministers approved the Transport Ministry's proposal for a six-month extension of the Incentive Plan for airlines to address the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic on Cyprus' connectivity and the development of air transport, regulations for free entry to museums and funding for the design and construction of an electric car at the First Technical and Vocational School of Education and Training in Nicosia. <br />

According to GMP, in statements after the Cabinet meeting, Transport, Communications and Works Minister Yannis Karousos explained that "this is a six-month extension of the existing Temporary Incentive Plan, which is in line with the temporary framework for state aid relaxation approved by the European Commission, which was due to expire by the end of the year. <br />
