A case of burglary and theft from a jewellery shop in the market area at 1 Petrakis Miltiades Street is being investigated by the Paphos Crime Detection Department.
According to the Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos CID Michael Nicolaou, a jewellery shop owner complained to the Police that at around 04:45 the jewellery shop alarm sounded.
From preliminary examinations it appears that the perpetrators, after breaking into the jewellery shop, obtained a number of jewellery items, the value of which has not yet been calculated, he said.
