The "historic" $20 billion plan by semiconductor manufacturer Intel to build new factories in Ohio has been welcomed by US President Joe Biden, as the global chip shortage is boosting inflation which is hitting his administration hard. [BR][BR]"This is a truly historic investment in America and in American workers," Biden said after meeting at the White House with Intel's chief executive.
