Eight award-winning German films that premiered at the Berlinale 2021 will be screened by the Goethe-Institut Cyprus on the big screen at the Pantheon Cinema, from 20 to 27 January 2022.
The aim of the screenings is to bring contemporary German cinema to Cypriot audiences, Goethe Institute Cyprus said in a statement.
According to the announcement, the series will start with Maria Schroeder's most recent film "Ich bin dein Mensch" (I am your man), for which the protagonist Maren Egert was awarded the Silver Bear and which deals with the comic and futuristic relationship between a woman and an artificial human (humanoid robot).
