The total expenditure of €1.21 billion in 2021 for GHS services to around 920,000 beneficiaries, with the Senior Official of the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO), Angelos Tropi, telling CNA that "based on the preliminary results, the 2021 expenditure will be approximately equal to the total revenue".
"Despite the adverse conditions, the Agency has so far managed to build up a reserve of about 300 million euros.
