The Police arrested three persons in the evening to facilitate the interrogations in connection with an investigated case of assisting the illegal entry and stay or transit in the territory of the Republic.
A police statement said that at around 8.40 last night, following a tip-off, members of the police went to a village in Nicosia district to check on two persons, who were suspiciously travelling by car in the area.
