A 32-year-old man was arrested for facilitating police investigations on animals in connection with an ongoing case of killing a dog in Larnaca province.
A written statement from the Police Headquarters Communication Office said that "at noon on Saturday 12 March, it was reported to the police by a villager of Larnaca district that his brother-in-law, while in a field near the paddock he keeps in Larnaca district, heard a shot from a shotgun and immediately afterwards a dog's cry. According to the complaint, a 32-year-old man was seen at the scene holding a shotgun and entering his home."
