A 30-year-old man was arrested to facilitate police investigations into an ongoing case of illegal drug possession.
As Steve Theodoulou, spokesman for the Famagusta Police Directorate, told CNA, "at around 19.30 on Tuesday evening, February 16, members of the Famagusta Police Department conducted a search of the apartment of a 30-year-old man from Paralimni, after seven packets of white powder cocaine weighing 3.5 grams and cannabis weighing two grams were found in his possession."
