Police arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the theft of a large number of cartridges and bullets from an importer's container, committed last October, while the trial of four persons is pending in court.
According to the police, the 21-year-old was arrested yesterday by members of the Limassol CID, on a court warrant, after evidence against him emerged during the investigation of the case.
In the morning he was brought before the Limassol District Court, which, at the request of the police, issued a three-day detention order for the purpose of police examinations.
