About 7.18% of teachers were absent from their schools and a total of 18.40% of students were absent from secondary schools and high schools, said OELMEK President Kostas Hadjisavas, in a statement to CNA.
Asked how the reopening of schools after the Christmas holidays went, Hatzisavas said that it was a difficult day since it was the first day of reopening of schools and taking into account the fact that the cases were increased several times more than the cases before the Christmas holidays.
