Apostolos Michael is the new coach of the Men's National Handball Team, succeeding Andreas Paraskevas, who had led the Cypriot representative team to the IHF / EHF Trophy last summer, through which the national team qualified for the next EURO 2024 qualifier.
"It is an honour to be the national coach. The responsibilities are great. We don't have much preparation time but we will do everything in our power to cope, to present ourselves as a team and to honour our country with the best possible result" says Michael in his first statements as Federal Coach.
According to a statement, the first meeting of the internationals was held today, Tuesday, while the training sessions of the national team under Apostolos Michael will start next Monday, December 20, in view of the qualifying matches
