Apollon passed victoriously from Makarios Stadium yesterday, defeating Doxa 3-0 and established themselves at the top of the standings with 41 points compared to 35 of Aris and AEK Athens.
In yesterday's other match, Ethnikos Ahna surprised the crowd with a 2-0 away win over Omonia. With this win, Ethnikos moved up to 12 points, remaining in twelfth place, but moved closer to the teams above them in the standings.
