APOEL took a small lead for qualification to the "8" of the Cyprus Cup, beating Anorthosis 2-1 in their first match at the GSP for the quarter-final stage of the Cyprus Cup in football.
Esenling opened the scoring for the hosts in the first minute, with Abardjumian equalizing for Anorthosis on 13 minutes. Kvilitaya made it 2-1 in the 52nd minute.
