[CNA] Another 7,046 deaths were recorded worldwide on Tuesday due to coronavirus

On 1 March, 1,363,999 new cases were detected worldwide, while a further 7,046 people died due to the coronavirus, according to a count by the Worldometers website.

Since the start of the pandemic, 5,983,716 people have lost their lives and a total of 438,612,137 cases of coronavirus have been detected.

Currently, there are 61,812,254 active cases of coronavirus worldwide, of which 0.1% (74,736) are in serious or critical condition.

The highest number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic has been recorded in the US (80,697,924) where there have been 977,402 deaths due to the pandemic.

In India, there have been a total of 42,938,599 cases and 514,246 deaths to date, while in Brazil there have been 28,811,165 cases and 649,717 deaths.
