An impressive 103% increase in tourist arrivals in January 2022, compared to January last year, but still down by 48.7% compared to January 2020, before the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
In particular, according to the Statistical Office, tourist arrivals in January 2022 amounted to 43,944, compared to 3,889 recorded in January 2021 and 85,622 arrivals recorded in January 2020.
