Issues concerning the price of electricity, energy plans and the energy security of Cyprus were discussed at today's meeting at the Presidential Palace between the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, and a delegation of AKEL, led by its Secretary General Stefanos Stefanou, with the opposition party presenting specific proposals aimed at reducing the price of electricity.
Energy Minister Natasha Pileidou, who attended the meeting along with other government officials and civil servants, said after its conclusion that the issue of reducing the price of electricity "is certainly an issue that concerns us, and we will certainly continue to examine those measures that are considered appropriate, so that above all, consumers are helped".
